Don't have any history for this particular flashcart. It's a 128Mbit cart with a prototype PAL version of Wipeout 64. I got it from somebody who purchased it from eBay days before but couldn't get it to run for whatever reason. I'm assuming it was a review copy.

There are definite code differences, but opted to make this public before really going into depth figuring out what's what. One thing that's obvious is it's far closer to the NTSC build than the refined PAL version. For example, it includes the L3DEX microcode not found in PAL but linked in NTSC. Certain functions (80071180 for instance) are found in NTSC and the proto but not retail PAL. A lot of data is padded out with random fill, so expect wading through a lot of garbage if you nose around in it.
There's no additional content in this versus retail. From the sound files onward, the proto and retail versions have identical files.

The game itself (and its padding) end at 0x800000. Remaining data is left over from a prototype of Chameleon Twist (addresses differ from all retail versions, no significant changes). Data is mirrored at +0x3FE000 intervals.
Although the game doesn't use eeprom, the dumped eeprom from the cart is included as well because hey, why not?
